Hubby and I have lived near Adam's our entire lives and have never eaten at the Cafe before. What a great surprise, it's delicious. Although,they did put mayo on my sandwich even though they weren't supposed to. They made me a new BLT lickety split. Would definitely go back again
It's all fresh and truly has the most awesome service and the biggest candy section there hot food bar is mouth watering anything you get you will not be disappointed. No matter what time you go though it's very busy
Really good food. French fries are a must have. Ice cream in very good as well. Free water or spa water available. You order, get a number, place the number on your table, and they bring your food to you. Please put your garbage and hardware away properly. I see it to many time where people just leave their plates on the table.
This cafe functions like Panera Bread... Pay for your order, take a seat and they bring it out to you. Went for breakfast this morning and had 'The Lumberjack' - two eggs, hash browns, bacon and 3 short-stack blueberry pancakes along with coffee and an orange juice. Two such breakfasts cost just 27 (or one breakfast for 13.50) - not bad considering diners are charging 45 (22.50 for one). Best of all it was delicious. No more diners or other expensive places, Adams Cafe is now my go to place for breakfast on the weekend. Highly recommend.
Great little sandwich and ice cream shop. Their food is pretty darn tasty. The yam roll sandwich is awesome with the tikis masala sauce. Excellent onion rings too.
Wonderful cafe that has been here for decades. Located in and outside of Adams farm stand, this cafe has delicious wraps, sandwhiches, ice cream and more! Great for an outdoor meal, snack after shopping, or a quick trip for some ice cream. Don't pass it up if you're in the area and looking for a quick ala carte meal and, or snack.
Great options for my entire family for all meals of the day. Whether eating in the Cafe or getting take-out we're always happy with the service from the staff. My wife needs gluten free options and this is our favorite place in the area to reliably have great options. My personal favs are an omelet with spinich, tomato, and feta cheese for breakfast or the fresh caprese sandwich (sometimes I add a burger patty) for lunch/dinner. And the homefries are AMAZING.
Best vegetarian burger in Poughkeepsie! They prepare their Beyond Burger *perfectly* and the bun and fixings are delicious. I’ve been unhappily without a Favorite Burger since BurgerFi closed, so I am overjoyed to be able to get veg. burgers at Adams Cafe from now on!
